Job description: Cost Accountant
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

You will:

We are looking for a Cost Accountant to manage and analyse costing activities across our EV manufacturing operations. The role will involve product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, cost control, and supporting business teams with accurate cost information for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product, component, and manufacturing cost sheets based on BOM, material, labour, and overhead costs.


• Perform standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis to identify cost deviations.


• Analyse material consumption, purchase price variance, production costs, and manufacturing overheads.


• Manage inventory valuation, WIP, finished goods, and cost reconciliation.


• Work closely with SCM, Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure accurate costing.


• Support cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives across EV manufacturing.


• Prepare costing MIS, reports, budgets, and management dashboards.


• Assist in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting related to costing.


• Ensure costing practices comply with accounting standards, GST, and applicable statutory requirements.


• Provide costing insights to support pricing, profitability, sourcing, and business decisions.

  Qualification: 
  B.Com/ M.Com / CMA / CMA Inter / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
