We are looking for a
Qualified CMA with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in the manufacturing industry to join our
Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should possess strong
expertise in inventory accounting, cost
analysis, inventory controls, and manufacturing finance.
This role requires close
coordination with the Stores, Production, Purchase, and Finance departments to
ensure accurate inventory records, cost
control, and timely reporting. The candidate should be comfortable working in rotational day and night shifts
on a weekly basis.
· Monitor and control inventory
across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, consumables, and
packing materials.
· Ensure accurate inventory
accounting and valuation in accordance with company policies and accounting
standards.
· Conduct regular physical stock
verification and cycle counts.
· Reconcile physical inventory
with ERP/system records and investigate discrepancies.
· Prepare inventory
reconciliation reports and recommend corrective actions.
· Analyse inventory movement,
slow-moving, non-moving, excess, obsolete, and damaged stock.
· Coordinate with Stores,
Production, Purchase, and Dispatch teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
· Ensure timely recording of all
material receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
· Monitor inventory ageing and
recommend inventory optimization strategies.
· Strengthen inventory control
procedures to minimize losses, wastage, and pilferage.
· Support month-end and year-end
inventory closing activities.
· Participate in internal and
external inventory audits and ensure audit readiness.
· Prepare inventory MIS reports
and dashboards for management review.
· Ensure proper documentation for
stock movements and inventory transactions.
· Assist in implementing and
improving inventory management systems and internal controls.
· Prepare product costing and
cost sheets.
· Analyse production costs and
identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Monitor manufacturing variances
and prepare variance analysis reports.
· Assist in budgeting and cost
control initiatives.
· Analyse material consumption
and production efficiencies.
· Support management with
profitability analysis and decision-making reports.
· Prepare monthly MIS reports
related to inventory and costing.
· Assist in monthly and annual
financial closing.
· Coordinate with auditors during
statutory, internal, and cost audits.
· Ensure compliance with
accounting standards and company policies.
· Maintain proper accounting
records and supporting documentation.
· Work closely with Production,
Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
· Qualified CMA (Cost &
Management Accountant).
· Minimum 1 year of
post-qualification experience in a manufacturing company.
· Strong understanding of
inventory accounting and manufacturing costing.
· Hands-on experience in
inventory reconciliation and stock verification.
· Experience working with ERP
systems will be an advantage.
· Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel,
including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and MIS reporting.
· Comfortable working in rotational weekly day and night shifts.
