Costing Analyst

Key Objectives:

The position shall be responsible & accountable in the following areas.

·        Lead product costing for multiple plants

·        Monthly closing activities related to costing function

·        Partnering with multiple stakeholders

·        Variance Analysis (Standard Vs Actual)

·        Build costing modules for new plants/activities

·        Cost Audit, compliances & MIS reports

Key Deliverables:

·        Managing and monitoring product costings for multiple plants (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and periodically)

·        Month end activities & provisions related to costing function

·        Partner with multiple stakeholders – procurement, supply chain, plants and others to deeply understand costing drivers and changes

·        Maintain cost components, master data and new SKU’s

·        Analyze costing variances for multiple scenarios (actual vs. standard, Year over year).

·        Run simulations and estimate costing changes as a result of expected business dynamics.

·        Train finance stakeholders in other locations on global costing methodology, guidelines and timelines.

·        Ensure NIL escalations from Statutory, external & Internal Auditors, relating to timely submission of information.

·        Ensure accurate & timely reports, coordination related documentation & Submission.

·        Proactive steps to monitor and control spending.

·        Maximizing use of technology/analytics for enhancing the operational efficiencies.

Specialized job competencies:

·        2-3 years of work experience in manufacturing sector will be preferred.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·        Proactive & learning attitude.

·        Experience of working in SAP HANA 4

·        Excellent Analytical skills & Problem-solving ability

·        Team player.

·        Proficiency in excel, knowledge of Power BI will be preferred.

·        Proficiency in both spoken and written English
