Position Overview

EPACK Petrochem Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Costing Professional to lead product costing, cost control, and margin analysis for its EPS resin manufacturing operations. The role will partner closely with Production, Procurement, and Finance to drive cost efficiency, accurate product costing, and strong financial discipline across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

•      Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard costing systems for EPS resin products, including raw material, conversion, and overhead costs.

•      Prepare product-wise and batch-wise cost sheets; track and analyze cost variances (material, labour, overhead) against standards/budgets.

•      Conduct monthly cost analysis, margin analysis, and profitability reporting by product/SKU for management review.

•      Monitor raw material (styrene monomer and related inputs) price movements and their impact on product costing and margins.

•      Support annual budgeting, standard cost revisions, and periodic cost audits in coordination with Finance.

•      Drive cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives across procurement, production, and inventory management.

•      Ensure accurate valuation of inventory (raw material, WIP, finished goods) as per applicable accounting standards.

•      Coordinate with plant/production teams to validate process yields, wastage norms, and conversion cost drivers.

•      Support statutory audit, internal audit, and cost audit (CMA) requirements with timely and accurate cost data/documentation.

•      Prepare MIS reports and cost dashboards for senior management, highlighting key cost trends and improvement opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

Education

ICWA / CMA (preferred); B.Com / M.Com with relevant costing exposure also considered

Experience

3–5 years in costing/cost accounting, preferably in a chemical, polymer, or manufacturing industry

Core Skills

Standard costing, variance analysis, cost sheets, inventory valuation, MIS reporting

Systems

Proficiency in ERP (SAP/Oracle preferred) and advanced MS Excel

Industry Exposure

Chemical / Manufacturing / EPS Resin industry background preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

•      Prior experience in a chemical, polymer, plastics, or petrochemical manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

•      Hands-on exposure to standard costing, process costing, and variance analysis in a manufacturing setup.

•      Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) for costing and inventory modules.

•      Strong analytical, Excel, and MIS reporting skills.

•      High attention to detail with the ability to work cross-functionally with Plant, Procurement, and Finance teams.

Compensation

Maximum CTC: ₹15 LPA (commensurate with experience and qualification)
