CPB -Darkroom Digitisation Technician

1. The vetting process for this role comprises 2 -3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field.
  

• 1 -2 years of experience in a photography setting.
  
• Proficiency in Lightroom and/or Photoshop.
  
• Solid understanding of exposure, colour, and image quality.
  
• Working knowledge of film photography and digitisation processes.
  
• Comfortable working in a hands -on lab environment.
  
• Preferred experience in archival digitisation, darkroom or film photography.
  
• Basic video shooting/documentation skills.
  

• Excellent communication and relationship -building skills.
  
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  
• An effective team worker who shows initiative and takes ownership of the role.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  
• Problem -solving mindset with a hands -on approach to troubleshooting.
  
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  
• Ability to manage time and maintain delivery timelines.
  
• Organised approach to file handling and workflows.
  
• Good time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
