We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Documentation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our team of healthcare communication experts. In this role, you will transform audio medical dictations into precise, high-quality written records that support patient care. A commitment to accuracy of not less than 85%, timeliness, and ethical standards is essential to ensuring our records are both complete and reliable. 

This work can be demanding, especially when audio quality is compromised, however, a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care drives every transcriptionist’s mission. 

Responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Acts as primary oversight for all non-APM credits balances and refunds 
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all refunds before they are submitted to the client 
  • Responsible for resolving escalated issues related to credit balances or refunds 
  • Must be able to effectively track all refunds and report on them accurately  
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with all other departments and clients  
  • Sense of urgency 
  • Ability to prioritize and follow a schedule 
  • Broad knowledge of multiple practice management systems 
  • Ability to analyze and understand payer EOB’s and clients managed care contracts/fee schedules
