*Responsibilities:*
- Perform comprehensive evaluation and management of critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary care teams during emergency and critical events.
- Initiate and manage life -support interventions including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on real -time patient data and clinical guidelines.
- Monitor and interpret complex diagnostic data such as arterial blood gases, echocardiograms, and continuous hemodynamic readings.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in ICU rounds, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff, residents, and trainees.
- Maintain up -to -date knowledge of clinical protocols, emerging treatments, and regulatory standards in critical care.
- Collaborate closely with specialists in cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and other relevant fields to ensure holistic patient management.
*Requirements:*
- MBBS degree with postgraduate specialization in Critical Care Medicine (DNB, MD, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands -on experience in ICU settings, preferably in tertiary care hospitals.
- Proven expertise in managing acute respiratory failure, sepsis, multi -organ failure, and other life -threatening conditions.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in invasive monitoring techniques, including central line placement, arterial line management, and pulmonary artery catheterization.
- Excellent decision -making skills under pressure with the ability to manage high -stakes emergencies effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in using ICU -specific technologies and electronic medical record systems.
- Commitment to patient -centered care, continuous learning, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
