URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT CTVS SURGEON

POSITION

Consultant Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon (CTVS Surgeon)

QUALIFICATION

• MBBS

• MS / DNB General Surgery

• MCh / DNB Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery

• Valid NMC / Gujarat Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced CTVS Surgeon preferred

• Strong hands-on experience in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgical procedures will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct CTVS OPD consultations and evaluate surgical cases

• Diagnose and manage cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgical conditions

• Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures as per expertise

• Manage elective and emergency CTVS cases

• Perform vascular procedures and interventions as per expertise

• Conduct pre-operative assessment and determine surgical fitness

• Provide comprehensive post-operative and ICU care

• Monitor patients and manage post-operative complications

• Coordinate with Cardiologists, Anaesthesiologists, Intensivists and other specialists

• Review and correlate relevant investigations including ECG, Echocardiography, CT and other imaging

• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, surgical options, risks and expected outcomes

• Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes and discharge summaries

• Participate in emergency and on-call duties as per hospital requirements

• Ensure adherence to OT, ICU, infection-control and patient-safety protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in CTVS

• Good hands-on cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgical skills

• Ability to manage complex and emergency surgical cases

• Strong clinical decision-making abilities

• Good multidisciplinary coordination

• Excellent patient counselling and communication skills

• Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
