This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Content Specialist based in India.


This role sits at the intersection of customer service, content strategy, and communications execution, where you will directly support clients in ensuring their press releases and communications reach the right audiences effectively. You will act as a trusted point of contact throughout the content distribution process, guiding clients, optimizing messaging, and ensuring alignment with best practices for visibility and engagement. The role requires a blend of communication expertise, attention to detail, and customer-first thinking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution of campaigns while maintaining high service quality. It is a highly interactive role that combines problem-solving, content review, and advisory support. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable communication impact for clients.


Accountabilities:



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the press release distribution and content delivery process

  • Review, proofread, and optimize client content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with communication best practices

  • Advise clients on content structure, messaging, and distribution strategies to improve visibility and engagement

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of client communication campaigns

  • Monitor distribution workflows and ensure press releases reach intended audiences effectively

  • Handle multiple client requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting strict deadlines

  • Apply SEO and content best practices to enhance the performance and reach of distributed materials

  • Support issue resolution and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail across all content-related deliverables


Requirements:



  • Around 3+ years of experience in customer service, content creation, communications, or related roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism

  • Excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization best practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong customer service mindset with experience handling client interactions

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Public speaking or presentation skills are a plus
