Job Description - Customer Service and Operations Support at a German Language School


DeutschPro India is the Indian branch of GfW - Gesellschaft für Weiterbildung, an educational holding and network of international language and vocational training institutes. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and international cooperation, we are continuously expanding our reach beyond borders. Together, we are preparing the further development of our activities in India, aimed at building long-term, sustainable partnerships and impactful educational solutions.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Customer Service & Operations Support based in Pune to support both our learners and the ongoing development of our local operations.

In this role, you will combine hands-on customer service responsibilities with operational and organizational support, playing an important part in the day-to-day functioning and further development of our location.

  • Supporting our Customer Success team in India and Germany in providing excellent service to our international learners
  • Assisting customers who learn German with us, either at one of our schools or online and supporting exam participants throughout their journey
  • Advising learners on course selection, bookings, exams, and general questions in a friendly, solution-oriented manner
  • Ensuring a high level of learner satisfaction through efficient, empathetic, and proactive support via email, phone, and on site
  • Coordinating administrative tasks and contributing to smooth day-to-day customer operations
  • Strong service orientation and genuine enthusiasm for working with adult learners
  • Fluent English and Marathi, Hindi and German are a plus
  • Confident and professional communication, whether by email, phone, or in person
  • Solid PC and MS Office skills
