Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Customer Technical Service Engineer with strong technical expertise and excellent customer-facing capabilities. This role requires hands-on experience with electronic materials used in SMT/PCBA assembly and semiconductor packaging processes. The successful candidate will build deep technical relationships with customers by providing on-site technical support and guidance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within the PBA business unit at local, regional, and global levels.

What will you be doing?



  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to key customers, including troubleshooting, product recommendations, and application guidance.

  • Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on our product portfolio and its applications in customer processes.

  • Field Visits: Conduct on-site visits to support product trials, installations, and performance evaluations.

  • Problem Solving: Diagnose technical issues and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver solutions.

  • Training & Education: Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and internal teams.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze performance data to optimize product usage and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to develop tailored solutions for customer needs.

  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on trials, technical findings, and recommendations.



 

Who are You?



  • Customer-centric professional with a strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering value‑added solutionsAnalytical and data-driven, with a logical approach to resolving complex technical challenges

  • Clear and effective communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into easily understood messages

  • Highly collaborative team player, building strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science

  • Minimum 3- years of experience in the SMT/PCBA assembly industry; experience in Polymer Protection, Thermal Management, and Backend Semiconductor Assembly is an advantage

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of solder paste, paste flux, liquid flux, cored wire, adhesives, conformal coatings, and encapsulant resin materials

  • Knowledge of Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi beneficial.

  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proactive, self-motivated


What competencies will you need?



  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of specialty chemicals, formulations, and application processes.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for customer interactions and reporting.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage technical projects and trials from start to finish.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing performance data and drawing actionable insights.

  • Digital Literacy: Familiarity with CRM systems, technical documentation tools, and Microsoft Office.
