Job Description - Cyber IAM Managed Service_Active Directory

Description

•We are seeking an experienced Consultant – Level L3 with minimum 48 months of experience to join our Identity Management team, focusing on Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), hybrid identity operations and directory security. The ideal candidate will lead L3 troubleshooting, execute complex changes, guide L2 team members, support audits and drive service improvements across enterprise directory services

Responsibilities

•Minimum 48 months of experience in identity management, infrastructure operations or Active Directory administration.

•Advanced understanding of AD DS concepts including directory objects, schema, global catalog, sites and services, FSMO roles, replication, trusts and secure administration practices.

•Hands-on experience with ADUC, GPMC, DNS Manager, Event Viewer, ADSI Edit, Repadmin, Dcdiag, PowerShell and log analysis for advanced troubleshooting.

•Experience with Group Policy design, troubleshooting, controlled deployment, impact analysis and remediation.

•Strong understanding of Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, DNS, authentication flows, password policies, account security controls and hardening practices.

•Experience supporting Windows Server, domain controller patching coordination, health checks, backup/restore concepts, DR support and capacity/risk assessments.

•Understanding of hybrid identity integration with Entra ID, Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync, identity lifecycle processes and directory synchronization issue resolution.

•Strong documentation, presentation and reporting skills for SOPs, KB articles, control evidence, service reviews and client leadership updates
§Have advanced working knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, domain controllers, forests, domains, OUs, trusts, DNS,DHCP, Group Policy and directory security controls.
§Lead troubleshooting for complex authentication, authorization, replication, account lockout, DNS, GPO and domain controller health issues.
§Plan, review and execute AD changes with appropriate risk assessment, validation, rollback planning and stakeholder communication.

§Support privileged access operations, access request governance, periodic access reviews, audit evidence collection and remediation tracking.

§Provide functional guidance to L1/L2 team members, review escalations, improve runbooks and contribute to knowledge management.

§Collaborate with Security, Operations, Application Owners and Service Providers on incidents, changes, problem management and service improvement activities.

§Build strong professional relationships with client personnel and communicate risks, progress and technical recommendations clearly.

Identify operational gaps, recurring issues and automation opportunities, and communicate them to senior team members

Qualifications

§Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
