Job Title: CyberArk PAM Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced CyberArk PAM Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Privileged Access Management solutions for large North American customers. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise across CyberArk (Self-Hosted & Privilege Cloud), Secrets Management (Conjur), and enterprise security integrations.

The role involves acting as a trusted advisor, translating business and security requirements into scalable PAM solutions, and ensuring high availability, resilience, and compliance across critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CyberArk PAM architecture, including design standards, governance, and roadmap


• Design and optimize solutions across Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM, safes, platforms, policies, and session management


• Lead CyberArk Privilege Cloud implementations and migrations


• Define and implement secrets management frameworks using CyberArk Conjur for DevOps and cloud workloads


• Drive integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, SIEM, ITSM, MFA, SSO, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools


• Conduct health checks, architecture reviews, risk assessments, and upgrade planning


• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to PAM engineering teams


• Drive automation for onboarding, password rotation, reporting, reconciliation, and certification workflows


• Support solutioning, RFPs, effort estimation, and customer workshops


• Act as the primary technical advisor for North American stakeholders

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 10+ years in Cybersecurity / IAM / Infrastructure Security


• 6+ years of hands-on experience in CyberArk PAM


• Strong expertise in:

  • Privileged access lifecycle, onboarding, password management, and session monitoring
  
  
  
  


• Experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud and hybrid PAM environments


• Hands-on with CyberArk Secrets Manager / Conjur or equivalent


• Strong understanding of:
  
  
  
  • Active Directory, Windows, Unix/Linux, networking
  
  
  • Identity federation, MFA, SSO, cloud security
  
  
  
  


• Experience integrating CyberArk with SIEM, ITSM, monitoring, identity platforms


• Strong automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, CyberArk APIs)


• Excellent communication skills with customer-facing exposure (NA stakeholders)

Preferred Skills

• CyberArk certifications (CDE, Sentry, Guardian)


• Experience with other tools: BeyondTrust, Delinea/Thycotic, ARCON, HashiCorp Vault


• Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, DevOps pipelines)


• Experience in managed security services / global delivery models


• Knowledge of Zero Trust, least privilege, non-human identities, privileged threat analytics

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
