D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant/Developer with strong expertise in X++, D365 customizations, integrations, and Microsoft Azure technologies. The role involves developing scalable solutions, API-based integrations, and supporting the D365 F&O platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions using X++.


• Design and implement REST APIs, OData, Data Entities, custom services, and external system integrations.


• Develop Azure-based integrations using Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and related services.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.


• Manage deployments, release activities, and One Version updates.


• Support D365 security roles, user access, and compliance requirements.


• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.


• Perform code reviews, testing, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O technical development.


• Advanced X++ development, extensions, customizations, and integrations.


• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OData, Data Entities, and web services.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure integration technologies.


• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control, and deployment processes.


• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and environment management.


• Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and integration patterns.


• CI/CD and automated deployments.


• D365 security framework, roles, duties, privileges, and user access.


• Power Apps/Power Automate and SharePoint integrations.


• Experience supporting D365 One Version updates and release management.
