Role Overview

As a Dashboarding & Design Specialist – BI & UX, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions that empower business stakeholders with actionable insights. You will collaborate with business users, data engineers, and platform teams to build scalable and user-friendly analytics experiences that simplify complex data into meaningful visual narratives.

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar BI tools, ensuring scalability, usability, and performance optimization.

Data Storytelling & UX Design

Translate business requirements into intuitive dashboard experiences with strong focus on user journeys, visual storytelling, and actionable insights.

Business Collaboration

Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, KPIs, and decision-making needs, and convert them into impactful analytics solutions.

Design Standards & Consistency

Establish and maintain dashboard design standards, layouts, visual themes, and interaction patterns to ensure a consistent user experience.

User Adoption & Optimization

Conduct user testing sessions, gather feedback, iterate on dashboard designs, and support user training and adoption initiatives.

Documentation & Governance

Maintain clear documentation including data sources, KPI definitions, dashboard logic, user guides, and change management records.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to ensure reliable, accurate, and performant data pipelines powering dashboards and reports.

The person you’re looking for

Strong academic background (Bachelor’s degree in IT, Design, Business, Engineering, or related fields).

Hands-on experience in BI dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.

Proven expertise in dashboard design, UX principles, and data storytelling with a strong portfolio of impactful reporting solutions.

Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and analytics concepts for scalable reporting and visualization.

Experience gathering business requirements, mapping user journeys, and designing intuitive analytics experiences.

Exposure to banking or financial services reporting environments, including operational, management, or regulatory reporting, is an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, or CSS is a plus.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear and engaging visuals.

Highly detail-oriented with strong focus on quality, usability, and end-user experience.

Flexible to travel across Saudi Arabia for stakeholder discussions, workshops, and collaboration engagements (50% travel requirement).
