Requirements:

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategies and decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable reports, visualisations, and dashboards using Tableau.

• Design and maintain scalable data models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.

• Develop and optimise SQL queries to extract and transform data from our PostgreSQL databases.

• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and reliability.

• Provide expertise and guidance in data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies to support business objectives.

• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating complex concepts.

• Continuously monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and visualisation.

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience working with complex database queries.

• Proficient in Tableau or other data visualisation tools to create compelling reports and dashboards.

• Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Proficient in data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus.

•  Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve data-related issues.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly organised with a keen attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
