Data Analyst

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business performance by transforming data into clear, actionable insights. This role goes beyond reporting — it requires strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to tell compelling stories with data that influence decision-making across the business.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, pricing, and leadership to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth 
• Translate data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders 
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Google Sheets, and Excel 
• Write efficient and scalable queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data 
• Use Python (or another programming language) for deeper analysis, automation, and data processing 
• Develop and improve pricing models, forecasting tools, and performance tracking systems 
• Monitor key business metrics and proactively identify risks and opportunities 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and measure success 
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting systems 
• Design and optimize processes for reporting, invoicing, and inventory management 
• Present insights in a structured and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences 

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory) 
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets / Excel (including complex formulas, data modelling) 
• Experience with Python or any programming language for data analysis and automation 
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker Studio and Tableau) 
• Strong understanding of data structures, data cleaning, and transformation 

Analytical & Problem-Solving

• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured analysis 
• Strong attention to detail with a high standard for data accuracy 
• Experience working with large datasets and identifying meaningful insights

• Exceptional ability to translate data into clear, compelling stories
