Sutherland is seeking a leadership-oriented and self-motivated person to join us as a Trust/Compliance & Safety Manager. We are a group of driven and hard-working individuals. Responsibilities

• Safeguard the entity from non-compliance with laws and regulations
• Protect the entity from using resources for illegal activities
• Establish and maintain effective compliance risk management and control systems, regulatory monitoring and reporting, and sanctions
• Provide timely advice on relevant changes in the regulatory environment
• Promote integrity in the organization
• Assess customer risks, investigate transaction patterns, and report irregularities
• Foster a culture of compliance
• Ensure that all employees are trained on laws and regulations
• Actively collaborate with operational and sales stakeholders to ensure teamwork and compliance with regulations and laws
• Report when high compliance risk issues are identified
• Keep the regulatory calendar updated and meet deadlines

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Risk management experience
• Experience in managing relations with regulatory bodies
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulations in the region

Skills

• Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reports
• Ability to interpret and analyze data, and problem-solve
• Ability to manage interpersonal relationships

Education

• Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field
