Job Role: Data Engineer

Work Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Work Type: Full Time – Hybrid (Initial 30 to 45 days On -site,
post which hybrid model requiring office presence 3 days a week)

Work Location: Guindy, Chennai

Role Description: The Data Engineer
will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and
warehouse systems to support analytics and business reporting needs. The ideal
candidate should have strong hands -on experience with SQL, ETL processes, and data
warehousing concepts, and be comfortable working in a hybrid setup after the
initial on -site period.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and
maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Work extensively with SQL
for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Implement and manage data
warehousing solutions.
Work with at least one
ETL tool to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
Ensure data quality,
consistency, and reliability across systems.
Collaborate with
analytics and business teams to understand reporting needs.
Optimize data
workflows for performance and scalability.
Document data processes, models, and technical
specifications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s
degree in any related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior
experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
Strong hands -on experience with SQL.
Good understanding of ETL processes and
Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience working with at least one
ETL tool.
Ability to work in a hybrid/on -site
model initially as required.
Strong
problem -solving and analytical skills.
