Job Description - Data Engineer Data Modeling

Hiring: Data Engineer – Data Modeling

Location: Bhubaneswar

Experience: 7+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling and conversion to support a major IBM transformation program in the FMCG domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data models and PDM (Physical Data Model) concepts

Handle data conversion and migration activities across systems

Work directly with business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Perform data analysis, profiling, and transformation activities

Support data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes

Collaborate with cross -functional teams in FMCG domain projects

Required Skills:

â Strong experience in Data Modeling and Data Engineering

â Good understanding of PDM concepts

â Experience in data conversion and migration projects

â Strong analytical and problem -solving skills

â Ability to work directly with business users

â Experience in FMCG domain (preferably PMI, Unilever, or P&G)

Good to Have:

â Experience in large -scale enterprise data projects

â Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

â Self -driven and independent working capability

Important Notes:

• Candidate must be available for Face -to -Face interview at IBM location if required

• Day 1 reporting from Date of Joining is mandatory

• Band: 7B
