About this Role

What you’ll do

·  Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and software systems.

·  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyse, and understand data requirements.

·  Implement and manage ETL processes using tools such as Ab Initio or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

·  Work extensively with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and Cloud SQL.

·  Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.

·  Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and performance across data platforms.

·  Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data workflow and system issues to maintain operational stability.

Who you are

·  4–7 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role.

·  Strong proficiency in GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and Cloud SQL.

·  Hands-on experience with enterprise ETL tools such as Ab Initio or ODI.

·  Solid knowledge of Unix and SQL, with exposure to Teradata environments.

·  Working knowledge of Python is an advantage.

·  A structured problem-solver with strong attention to detail.

·  A clear communicator who works collaboratively within diverse teams.
