Data Engineer Snowflake

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer – Snowflake with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimising modern cloud -based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands -on experience with Snowflake architecture, ETL/data pipelines, Azure ecosystem, and big data technologies.

The candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to build scalable and high -performance data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies.
  
• Implement and optimize Snowflake architecture, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and data ingestion frameworks.
  
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Snowflake SQL scripts.
  
• Build and manage data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  
• Work with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark for large -scale data processing.
  
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
  
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and performance optimization.
  
• Collaborate with cross -functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data issues.
  
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture and internals.
  
• Hands -on experience with Snowflake SQL, Snow pipe, Streams, and Tasks.
  
• Strong SQL programming skills.
  
• Experience in ETL/Data Pipeline development.
  
• Hands -on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  
• Good knowledge of Azure Data bricks.
  
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and PySpark.
  
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Data Modelling.
  
• Experience working in cloud -based data engineering environments.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  
• Good problem -solving and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in agile environments.
