Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance
Consultant/Engineer to join our team and support enterprise -wide data
governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands -on experience with Microsoft
Purview (preferred), strong knowledge of data governance practices, and
expertise in cataloging and data quality. This role requires both technical
proficiency and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver
trusted, well -managed data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and
  operationalize data governance frameworks across domains.
  
• Configure and manage Microsoft
  Purview for cataloging, lineage, classification, and policy
  enforcement.
  
• Support data quality management by implementing rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
  
• Assist in data
  cataloging initiatives using Purview and other tools (Collibra,
  Alation, Informatica IDMC).
  
• Partner with business
  stewards and IT teams to define data ownership, stewardship, and
  standards.
  
• Provide metadata
  management expertise to drive consistent definitions and business
  glossaries.
  
• Contribute to adoption and
  training efforts, enabling federated data governance operating models.
  
• Work on Azure ecosystem
  integration for data governance use cases (added advantage).
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Microsoft
  Purview (preferred).
  
• Hands -on experience in data
  governance, data cataloging, and data quality management.
  
• Familiarity with other
  governance tools: Informatica IDMC, Collibra, Alation.
  
• Good understanding of
  metadata management, lineage, and stewardship concepts.
  
• Strong communication
  skills with ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
  
• Azure foundational
  knowledge is an added advantage.
