Data Migration Developer

Responsibilities

6 -8 years of experience working as a data migration technical lead with hands -on experience in complex and challenging migration projects
Coordinate with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated, build data models from scratch and prepare data mappings.
Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential issues with data migration. Get sign -off and perform data loads.
Follow best practice standards and protocols for migration of data.
Evaluate different source systems to determine how to best move data from one system to another system (for example: Salesforce).
Should have experience working with large volumes of data and methodology to process it concurrently.
Perform data validation pre and post migration, come up with Data Reconciliation reports.
Establish testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
Provide technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Create documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects
Collaborate and guide the team for the deliverables.
Document the data analysis, mapping specifications, and prepare the Technical Design Document.
Perform in High Pressure environment
Mentor team members

Requirements / Specifications

Strong experience in using ETL Tools (Eg. Pentaho, Mulesoft, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS etc.)
Hands on experience in different phases involved in Data Migration
Good understanding of Workflows, Business Processes, events and triggers.
Experience in data/process mapping in Data Migrations involving Salesforce, Oracle, Dynamics365, SAP, Legacy systems etc, is preferred.
Strong Experience working on different databases, SQLqueries.
Knowledge of Supply Chain/CRM/Quote to Cash/Quote to Order business.
Experience handling of various data formats (XML, JSON, etc.)
Expert on SOAP & REST Services, API implementation and any Cloud services
Programming skill in Java, JavaScript
Good Communications, ability to work in teams, onshore and offshore,, motivated to Achieve more
Self -driven, goal -oriented individuals are preferred
Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills, Quick Learner
Passion for Success & Precision
Candidates with exposure to platforms like Salesforce, Oracle EBS/Cloud, OIC, etc. are preferable but not mandatory
