About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role demands deep expertise in designing data models for both OLTP and OLAP systems, along with performance optimization and cloud data solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models.
Perform hands-on data modelling for OLTP and OLAP environments.
Optimize databases through indexing, partitioning, and data sharing techniques.
Analyze and enhance database performance for near real-time reporting and high-volume application access.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective database design strategies.
Use modelling tools like DBSchema or Erwin to document and evolve data structures.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data modelling.
Proficiency in data modelling tools (preferably DBSchema or Erwin).
Solid grasp of database performance optimization techniques.
Experience with GCP database services including AlloyDB, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:
Functional knowledge of the mutual fund industry.

Other Details:
This is an on-site role based in Chennai. Remote work is not permitted.
