Job Description - Data Modeller

Description

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for banking applications.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to enterprise data governance standards.

Optimize database design for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Support data integration and data warehousing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to enterprise data governance standards.

Optimize database design for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Support data integration and data warehousing initiatives.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler.

Strong experience in the Banking domain.

Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.

Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.

Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) implementation projects is highly desirable.

Exposure to AWS Redshift and cloud-based data warehousing solutions is an added advantage.

Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance data requirements is a plus.
