Data Quality Engineer

Job Role: Data Quality Engineer  

• Location: Preferably onsite in Chennai; however,  it is highly preferred that the candidate can attend the office in Chennai a couple of days per week during the first months.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets


• Hands-on experience using Databricks


• Experience with data quality tools


• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipelines


• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases


• Hand-on experience with Monte Carlo Data Observability


• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure)


• Familiarity with Collibra

Data Engineering & Architecture

• Understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures


• Experience with batch and near real-time data processing using Databricks


• Knowledge of data modeling concepts (dimensional, relational)

Nice to Have

• Programming experience (Python, Scala, or Java)


• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M)


• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and lineage tools


• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven environments (e.g., Banking)


• Certifications in data management or cloud platforms (CDMP, AWS, Azure)
