Key Responsibilities:

Pixis is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to solving complex analysis problems. As a Data Scientist, you will work with large datasets, conduct analysis, and make business recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Work with large complex data sets to solve difficult non-routine analysis problems
  • Conduct analysis including data gathering, processing, analysis, and presentations
  • Make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings
  • Research and develop analysis methods to improve the quality of user-facing products
  • Support new data-driven advertising and marketing products
  • Combine large-scale experimentation, statistical methods, and machine learning to answer business questions
  • Be a strategic thought partner with business stakeholders to define high impact analytical problems
  • Develop statistical models explaining key behavioural patterns
  • Build dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders to self-serve metrics
  • Translate analytic insights into actionable recommendations for business improvement

Requirements & Skills:

  • 1-3 years into Data Science.
  • Strong statistical knowledge and understanding of predictive modelling
  • Basic understanding of experimentation
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with distributed analytic processing technologies
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and cultivate strong partnerships
  • Passionate about communicating difficult concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter who thrives under a high level of autonomy
