Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, particularly in Python-based predictive analysis and data modeling. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, bringing their expertise to solve complex problems and drive our data initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive Analysis:
• Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models using Python.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to create robust models.
• Data Modeling:
• Design and develop data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to implement data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Advanced Analytics:
• Conduct advanced analytics to support strategic business initiatives.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and guide data-driven decision-making.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Translate complex analytical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices.
• Project Management:
• Lead data science projects from inception to completion.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and project milestones.
• Ensure high-quality documentation of methodologies and results.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 8 to 13 years of relevant experience in data science or related fields.
• Proven track record in predictive analysis and data modeling.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Python and its libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
