Based in Hyderabad, this role plays a critical part in Lonza’s global SAP S/4HANA transformation program, supporting the readiness, migration, and governance of high‑quality data across global manufacturing sites. You will work at the intersection of data, business processes, and technology to help deliver one of Lonza’s most impactful digital transformation initiatives.

What you will do

• Support global manufacturing sites in preparing and validating data for SAP S/4HANA deployments, with a focus on Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS).
• Coordinate and oversee data migration activities including mock loads, testing, cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Work closely with internal teams and external implementation partners to ensure data designs, mappings, and transformations are delivered and approved on time.
• Drive harmonization and standardization of data preparation processes, tools, and templates across deployments.
• Support the rollout and adoption of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to enable strong data governance and data quality from day one.
• Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities, including automation and innovative technologies, and drive timely resolution.
• Contribute to training, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement for future deployments.
   

What we are looking for

• Proven experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly within Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS).
• Strong background in data management, data migration, or ERP transformation projects, either in industry or consulting environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP data models, data objects, and end‑to‑end data lifecycle concepts.
• Experience working with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or similar data governance solutions is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data management, or a related discipline (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
