Job Title IT - Business Analyst

This position is for the Business Analyst role which Describe the business need in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
Organizes and documents supporting detailed requirements Ensures that the other squad members have a clear understanding of the business needs and requirements Works closely with other team members to ensure quality deliverables that are fit for purpose
Provides a thorough analysis of issues & solutions The position will also include analysis for Bureau Reporting (Unit Stat, ISO and Mass Auto, NCCI, SFAA) The Business Analyst works very closely with all stakeholders including business customers, vendors, and internal resources in order to facilitate team communication and achieve the squad’s mission

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose problem statements into clearly defined requirements.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to enhance data warehouse processes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and data quality improvement.
• Create and finalize requirements for new reports and integrate new data sets.
• Facilitate the modernization of data ingestion and consumption processes.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and data warehousing solutions to track business objectives.
• Conduct complex analyses of datasets and validate data across multiple sources.
• Provide actionable insights and visualizations to business leaders using tools like Tableau.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in Business Analysis.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Insurance Data Warehouse and its processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, DBT).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis.
• Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Logical and efficient approach to problem-solving.
