In the Role you get:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL in production environments.

- Strong knowledge of sharding, horizontal/vertical partitioning, and replication techniques.

- Proven experience in indexing strategies, sorting keys, and query optimization.

- Deep understanding of ACID, CAP theorem, and data consistency models.

- Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting slow queries.

- Proficiency in database design, normalization, and denormalization practices.

- Hands-on experience with cloud-native databases (e.g., GCP Cloud SQL, AWS RDS, AlloyDB).

- Proficient in SQL, PL/pgSQL, stored procedures, and triggers.

- Experience with monitoring tools like pgBadger, Percona Toolkit, or AWS CloudWatch.

- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.

- Define Sutherland’s reputation: Oversee and manage performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction; provide coaching and feedback. Work towards common goal of “One Sutherland Team playing to win”.

Our most successful candidates will have:

- Academic: BE / BTECH (CSE, IT), B.Sc. (Computers), BCA / MCA Or Other Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Computing / IT preferred

- Functional Domain: Healthcare IT / IT Services Delivery domain. - Experience: Relevant years of experience in similar role.

- Communication skills: Have strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.

- Personality: Good time-management skills.

- Team player: Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
