If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a DB2 sys consultant to join our team in pune, Mah\u0101r\u0101shtra (IN-MH), India (IN).\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a DB2 for z/OS specialist, you\u2019ll need to:\n\n * Install and test new versions of DB2\n * Provide 2nd and 3rd Level Support for applications that use DB2.\n * Ensure support and management of distributed DB2 connections.\n * Ensure stability and integrity of a highly responsive OLTP (CICS) DB2 environment.\n * Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security\n * Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front-end users\n * Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans\n * Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly\n * Carry out capacity planning\n * Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security\n * Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.\n * Ensure there is provision for data security and recovery control (ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency).\n * Ensure that we use supported versions for all database and monitoring solutions. \n * #LI-NorthAmerica\n\n\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
