Corporater is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Global Services Center in Chennai.
This is a hybrid leadership role combining people management, regional delivery ownership, and high-level technical guidance. You will lead a team of approximately 10–12 consultants and be accountable for the successful delivery of projects within a designated region.
The position sits between the traditional responsibilities of a Project Manager and a Solution Architect. You will not be expected to act as a deeply specialized technical architect; however, you must have the experience and confidence to guide solution delivery, address complex challenges, and ensure that projects meet client expectations.
You will work closely with regional delivery teams, project managers, solution architects, product teams, and other global stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery excellence and further strengthen the contribution of our offshore delivery organization.
Lead and manage a team of approximately 10–12 consultants, supporting their engagement, performance, and professional development.
Set clear expectations and provide regular coaching, feedback, and guidance.
Conduct performance reviews and create individual development and career growth plans.
Support the Delivery Head and PMO in planning and allocating resources across multiple projects.
Help optimize team capacity, utilization, and delivery effectiveness.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, accountable, and customer-focused team culture.
Act as the primary point of accountability for delivery outcomes within your designated region.
Work closely with regional stakeholders to define project scope, delivery plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed budgets, and in line with client requirements and quality standards.
Monitor delivery progress and proactively address risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles.
Serve as an escalation point for complex delivery and technical challenges.
Maintain transparency and clear communication across local, regional, and global stakeholders.
Provide high-level technical direction and solution-design guidance for Corporater implementations.
Support consultants in translating business requirements into effective and scalable solutions.
Act as a bridge between consultants, solution architects, product teams, and regional stakeholders.
Help resolve technical and delivery-related challenges without losing sight of the client’s business objectives.
Ensure that implementation approaches align with Corporater’s product roadmap, delivery standards, and established best practices.
Build trusted relationships with clients and regional stakeholders.
Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, business value, and long-term client success.
Identify opportunities to expand the involvement and capabilities of the GSC team in regional projects.
Support pre-sales activities by contributing delivery expertise, solution insights, and knowledge of offshore capabilities.
Help position the GSC as a reliable, scalable, and value-adding delivery partner.
Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized delivery processes, frameworks, tools, and templates.
Monitor key delivery metrics, including customer satisfaction, utilization, project velocity, quality, and delivery performance.
Use data and delivery insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Proactively identify project and operational risks, escalate where appropriate, and implement effective mitigation plans.
Promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and consistent delivery practices across teams and regions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
At least 10 years of experience in IT consulting, enterprise software, or SaaS implementation and delivery.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a delivery leadership, project leadership, or comparable people-management role.
Demonstrated experience leading small to mid-sized consulting or delivery teams.
Experience managing complex client projects within a global or matrix organization.
Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms; experience with GRC, BPM, performance management, or related business applications would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
A sound understanding of solution-design principles and enterprise software implementation.
Proven stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with clients and cross-functional global teams.
Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to balance technical oversight, people leadership, client expectations, and commercial priorities.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience with the Corporater platform or a comparable enterprise performance and GRC solution would be an advantage but is not essential.
