Description As the Deputy Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Operations department, specifically focusing on the expansion of our brand, Pluckk. Your primary objective will be to increase revenue by strategically growing our presence in modern and general trade channels. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Create and implement effective sales plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the management team.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns and product launches.
Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards.
Provide training and mentorship to junior sales team members, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in FMCG or similar industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
