Job Description - Deputy Branch Manager - Pune - Maharastra

Searching for a Bank for a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Branch Manager to join our team. As the Deputy Branch Manager, you will actively support the Branch Manager in the daily operations of the branch. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of the branch, managing resources, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have a thorough knowledge of banking procedures, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should also have a Bachelor’s degree in business or economics and at least three years of experience in a banking-related role. The ideal candidate should also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude. Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Branch Manager in daily operations, including handling customer queries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that the branch is operating efficiently and effectively.
  3. Motivate team members to reach their goals and provide guidance and support as needed.
  4. Monitor staff performance and take corrective action where necessary.
  5. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and that safety and security measures are in place.
  6. Conduct regular audits of staff performance and customer service satisfaction.
  7. Analyze customer data to identify areas of improvement and suggest strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  8. Develop and implement strategies and tactics to improve customer service and branch performance.
  9. Participate in the development of promotional activities and campaigns.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.


Other Responsibilities include : 
  • Enhancement of the deposit pool from customers.
  • Establishing standards and delivery of service.
  • Sale of non-deposit products.Cross-selling targets progressively.
  • Sale of MF and insurance products.
  • Fee income generation.
  • Branch administration.
  • Regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the productivity and morale of branch personnel.


Requirements

  • MBA / CA/ CAIIB
  • Should have a sales orientation
  • Must have 5+ years of relationship management or team-leading experience managing a team of Liability RMs.
  • Leadership skills(Though more tactical than strategic).
