Deputy General Manager, Legal

What you'll do:

Who you are:

Qualifications

• LLB / LLM from a recognized university in India


• Additional certifications or exposure in corporate law, IP law, media & entertainment law, or technology law will be an advantage

Required Experience

• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in reputed law firms handling commercial, corporate, IP, or M&A matters


• Demonstrated experience in:




• Independent contract negotiation and deal closure


• Litigation management and counsel coordination


• Advising senior leadership on legal and commercial risks




• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, technology, or consumer-facing industries is strongly preferred

Technical & Legal Skills

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract interpretation skills


• Sound understanding of corporate law, contract law, IP laws, and dispute resolution


• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously with minimal supervision
