  • Lead annual budgeting at plant level; support regional budgeting and provide monthly variance analysis vs budget.
  • Manage all month‑end activities: G/L scrutiny, provisions (manpower, electricity, repairs, rent, BIS fees), cost‑center classification, CWIP review for timely capitalization, and supplier‑advance closure.
  • Support Capex proposals and provide insights to HQ; assist in Fixed Asset Register validations.
  • Support operational excellence projects, validate business cases, and track monthly savings.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and manage scrap billing with advance receipt controls.
  • Ensure proper classification of cost centers during month‑end and throughout the year to maintain accuracy of plant‑level financial statements.
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of spares and ensure discrepancies are investigated and closed with plant maintenance and store teams.
  • Ensure billing of scrap against advance payments is completed timely, with correct documentation and accounting controls.
  • Implement and monitor operational financial control procedures, including compliance with all Project Udaan checklist requirements.
