Job Description - Deputy Manager

Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to lead our Fraud Investigation Unit. This position plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's interests by overseeing and managing fraud-related investigations. The Deputy Manager will work closely with the Manager to ensure the unit's smooth operation and successful resolution of cases. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team of investigators and coordinate with external authorities.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the Fraud Investigation Unit, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct field visits for TPFLP cases, including police, hospital, insured, driver, and claimant visits.
  • Perform quality checks on investigation reports to maintain high standards.
  • Analyze data related to TPFLP, OD, and TP claims, identifying trends and potential fraud patterns.
  • Liaise with police authorities and coordinate with investigators to gather necessary information.
  • Follow up on investigation reports and documents to ensure timely completion.
  • Make outgoing calls to insured, drivers, and claimants as required for case management.
  • Handle Pay & Recover cases, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Provide support and guidance to the investigation team, fostering a collaborative environment.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Criminal Justice, Law, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud investigation or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, utilizing relevant software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • Willingness to travel for field visits and investigations as required.
