Deputy Manager Audit (CA Firm)

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Audit to support and manage audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio. The role involves leading audit assignments, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with clients, and supporting senior management in delivering high -quality professional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage statutory audit assignments
  
• Lead audit engagements and supervise junior team members
  
• Perform audit risk assessments and design appropriate audit procedures
  
• Review audit working papers and ensure adherence to auditing standards
  
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Accounting Standards, and applicable laws
  
• Coordinate with client finance teams to obtain information and resolve audit queries
  
• Draft audit observations, reports, and management letters
  
• Monitor timelines and ensure timely completion of assignments
  
• Support partners and managers in client handling and audit planning
  
• Maintain professional standards and documentation quality
  

• 3–5 years of post -qualification experience in statutory audit within a CA firm
  
• Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulatory frameworks
  
• Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and corporate compliance
  
• Experience in handling audits independently or with limited supervision
  
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and client -management skills
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting software
  

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Exposure to large audits and group audits
  
• Experience in internal audit, due diligence, or special audits
  
• Prior experience in reviewing work of juniors or articles
