Job Description - Deputy Manager- Commercial


Position:  Commercial – Seed Potato Business


Responsibilities & Key Deliverables/Functional Requirement



  • Pricing Negotiation and Validation for Procurement and Sales.

  • Process Setting & Validation for Inward and outward of Inventory.



  • Monitoring of Perpetual Physical Inventory / Annual Physical Inventory Process to ensure adequate control is in place, process is followed, and corrective action is taken in time. Inventory Valuation and Reconciliation with FI books

  • Receivable Management. Discount and Incentive, Quality related provision.

  • Commercial Contract – Negotiation and Compliance adherence with Vendors / Farmers/ Cold Storage

  • Commercial Audit of Yield (Expected vs Actual). Gap in PO vs GRN analysis.

  • Ensuring timely & accurately completion of monthly closing activities related activities.

  • Maintaining and monitoring the Inventory level through Actionable MIS for each location and tracking of movement including shortage and pilferage at each stage.

  • Authorising the payment to Farmers. Ensuring no delay in Farmers payment and MSME payments.

  • Monitoring adherence to compliances applicable to Plant /Cold Storage.

  • Initiating process improvements and digitisation projects – Process compliance in O2C and P2P.

  • Monitoring adherence to Risk & Control Matric (RCMs) & SOPs related to Plant /field operation

  • Regular Monitoring of Capital work in Progress and ensure timely capitalisation of Fixed Assets and releasing monthly MIS of Fixed Assets

  • Accounting of Various advances (Staff, Vendor, Capital, Prepaid) and ensure timely settlement of the advances.

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance of material /Assets movement on RGP /NRGP.

  • Legal Matter Handling, Insurance


Others


Working Knowledge of GST, PF/ESI Compliance


Working knowledge of TDS/TCS and Ensure Statutory compliances related to them.


- Comprehensive Knowledge & Experience of SAP (FI -CO Module).


-Good Command over MS office (Advance Excel & PPT) 


-Self Starter, Effective team player, Analytics, Creative, Good presentation & communication skills


Inter-Personal Skill, Negotiation Skill, CAB behaviour.
