Deputy Manager, HRIS

Job Summary

The Senior HRIS Consultant serves as the primary subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors and all related modules, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Workforce Software (WFS), and related HR technology platforms. The role is responsible for the configuration, optimization, governance, support, and continuous improvement of HR systems that enable global HR operations, workforce management, payroll processing, analytics, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Working closely with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Finance, Compliance, and external vendors, the incumbent provides technical leadership in system design, integration, reporting, data governance, workforce management, and process automation. The role drives operational excellence while ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

HR Technology Administration

• Administer and optimize SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Workforce Software, and related SF Modules.


• Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, permissions, role-based security, and organizational structures.


• Ensure HR systems operate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with company standards.


• Develop and maintain system documentation, governance standards, and change management procedures.


• Identify and deliver automation and process improvement opportunities


• Serve as functional and technical SME for all SuccessFactors modules including, Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruitment, Performance & Goals, etc.


• Lead SAP semi-annual release reviews, impact assessments, testing, and deployment activities.


• Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate resolution activities across multiple stakeholders.


• Support implementation of new features and system enhancements.

Project Delivery

• Lead and participate in HR technology projects, implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.


• Support global HR transformation programs and organizational change initiatives.


• Develop project plans, testing strategies, deployment schedules, and stakeholder communication plans.


• Manage relationships with implementation partners, vendors, and external consultants.

Reporting, Analytics & Data Governance

• Develop and maintain HR technology reports, dashboards, KPIs, and workforce analytics.


• Establish and maintain controls ensuring data quality, integrity, consistency, and audit readiness.


• Conduct periodic data reconciliations and quality reviews across HR systems.


• Support executive reporting and workforce planning initiatives.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with:

• Support internal and external audit activities.


• Maintain robust security controls and segregation-of-duty requirements.


• Support Computer System Validation (CSV) and validation documentation within regulated environments where applicable.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.


• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification


• 10 years of HRIS experience.


• Minimum 8 years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.


• Minimum 3 years of Workforce Software (WFS) administration experience.


• Experience supporting Employee Central Payroll environments.


• Experience leading HR technology projects, enhancements, and system deployments.


• Experience supporting global HR Shared Service operations.


• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries preferred.


• Experience supporting payroll, workforce management, and employee lifecycle processes.
