Deputy Manager - MDM

What you’ll do:

This is a Lead role for Product Data stewardship operations. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the collection, enrichment, and transformation of product data to support strategic objectives and ensure data integrity across the organization. This role is crucial in enabling customer-facing use cases such as our website, e-commerce platforms, and syndication to third parties. The individual will have to oversee a team of Product MDM Stewards, managing thier daily work allocation and ensuring timely task completion    
"• Lead and manage the Product MDM stewardship operations
• Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data.
• Drive stewardship operations for product data, ensuring data governance and quality standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure seamless operations
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead talent engagement activities, including hiring, onboarding, engagement, development plans, and performance management.
• Act as a point of escalation for data-related issues, providing resolution and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and Project Management, to manage deployment projects and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Identify and address critical PDH data issues, implementing process improvement opportunities through KAIZEN and CI frameworks.
• Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices, and lead data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist the business with onboarding to the MDM platform, ensuring smooth integration and data stewardship.
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions."    
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
6-10 Yrs in Master Data Management

MDM, Product Data, Advanced Excel, SQL, PowerBI Basics
Good written and Verbal communication Skill, Problem solving skill, Understanding of data management & data governance policies
