More information is available at www.india.whirlpool.in\n\n## The team you will be a part of\n\nThe Operations/Production team plans, directs and monitors all production activities within an assigned area or unit to maximize the use of the organization\u0027s resources and meet established production specifications, schedules and quality standards. Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.\n\n## This role in summary\n\nTo ensure that the yield of Production line is in accordance with the required quality, cost and productivity\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\n * Responsible for the daily KPI\u2019s : delivery, LGT, OEE, scrap cost reduction, quality \u0026 productivity\n\n * Analyze and bridge gaps in production against capacity by identifying pain areas, preparing action plan and driving the change with CFT (Cross-Functional Team) on biweekly basis \n\n * Arrange weekly meetings with Production and PDC (Product Development Centre) teams for discussion on cycle-time improvement and new parts requirements in accordance with ECN (Engg. Change Notification) and ECR (Engg. Change Request)\n\n * Monitor the CAL A defects to ensure quality of products on the line\n\n * Maintain quality through adherence to parameters like scrap cost and CAL (Customer assurance Lab) A defects related to cabinet foaming\n\n * Monitor LGT related to CHU-In (Component hookup unit), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and A defects.\n\n * WCM (Whirlpool Production System) implementation\n\n * Part of WCM pillar, work along with Pillar Lead.\n\n * Work along WCM route map to achieve WCM goals.\n\n * Drive Autonomous maintenance\n\n * Implement preventive maintenance or maintain machine-health and take up improvisation projects for reduction of scrap, power etc.\n\n * Measures to ensure effective manpower handling and engagement\n\n * Engage and align the workforce to the productivity objectives and targets\n\n * Managing skill matrix of the operators to ensure manpower optimization\n\n * Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Issues\n\n * Inform the concerned authority about the issue. Can resolve the issue after informing the department head and area supervisor. \n\n * Accountable for any complaints registered by subordinates regarding any issue and for any issues noticed by self. \n\n * Networking\n\n\n\n\n * Internal:\n\n\n| \n\n1\\. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Process engg., Maintenance, Quality and Design teams to expand the knowledge base and business support\n\n2\\.
