Deputy Manager - Process Excellence

Process Improvement Execution

• Lead
  and support Lean and Six Sigma projects at the shop -floor level.
  
• Conduct
  time studies, line balancing, and value stream mapping exercises.
  
• Develop
  and implement SOPs, standard work, and visual management systems.
  

Quality & Customer Compliance

• Drive
  reduction in internal rejection, scrap, rework, and customer PPM.
  
• Support
  customer audits, PPAP, APQP, and corrective action closures.
  
• Perform
  root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
  

Manufacturing Support

• Improve
  cycle time, yield, manpower productivity, and space utilization.
  
• Implement
  Poka -Yoke, SPC, and basic TPM initiatives.
  
• Support
  new line setups, capacity enhancement, and process stabilization.
  

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work
  closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Industrial Engineering
  teams.
  
• Track
  CI project progress and report benefits to management.
  
• Support
  deployment of plant and corporate CI initiatives.
  

Requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Lean
  Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
  
• Hands -on
  shop -floor improvement experience
  
• Knowledge
  of OEM/ Tier -1 automotive processes and customer requirements
  
• Data
  analysis and reporting skills (Odoo/SAP/Oracle, Excel, Minitab,
  Flowcahrts)
  

Behavioural Competencies

• Strong
  execution and problem -solving capability
  
• Ability
  to work in a fast -paced manufacturing environment
