Deputy Manager - Vehicle Integration

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems, evaluation of concepts considering vehicle targets in terms of weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
• Vehicle architecture & design considering market needs, engineering limitation and modularity within platform
• Interaction with Various Engineering COEs, Collecting all engineering/Design inputs and prepare overall plan for Technology/Concept projects
• Interaction with Product Planning / Customers to create and design vehicle level architecture as per customer need (told/ untold) and conceptualising product before detailed design
• To achieve modularity / standardization yet addressing diverse requirements
• Benchmarking, Target Setting, DVP conclusion
• Quality, DMU, DFA, DFS, DFM
• EBOM release & control
• Awareness of CNG system and its packaging in vehicle
• Awareness of current & future homologation requirements. Enable homologation compliance are considered during design stage by collecting the data from homologation group , sorting it out system wise and handling over to respective system engg.
• Support in Build and Validation and lead CFT in concern resolution of the same.
• Conclusion on product requirement considering Customer need
• Defining the key product Attributes and agreement with PMG for its positioning.
•  Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
• Budget estimate & co-ordination for concept demostration and performance evaluation
