Deputy Manager-QA Sr. Engineer- TV

Experienced in Digital Video domain projects (IPTV, OTT) with exposure to STBs, mobiles, and Smart TVs. Skilled in testing Cable & Satellite Set Top Boxes. Proficient in API testing using tools like POSTMAN. Knowledgeable about Headend systems and video management platforms such as Kaltura. Understanding of networking concepts, router/modem setup, multicasting, and bandwidth throttling. Familiar with media ingest processes, nPVR, Video on Demand, and EPG. Hands-on experience with IPTV configuration, installation, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of ABR streaming protocols (MPEG DASH, HLS, HDS), DRM, and CDN technologies. Ability to use tools like Wireshark, ADB, Fiddler, and Charles Proxy for network/application log analysis. Good to have: Android Debug Bridge, xCode for iOS, and experience in system integration testing with tools like Splunk. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Logical thinker with strong prioritisation skills and adaptability in a fast-changing environment. Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams. Education: Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent.
