Job Description - Dermatologist

Dermatologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, while offering both medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. A patient -first approach and strong diagnostic acumen are essential.

Qualifications:

â Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DNB in Dermatology) from a recognized institution.

â Board certification or equivalent in Dermatology.

â Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region].

â Strong clinical skills in diagnosing dermatologic disorders.

â Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

â Diagnose and manage dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and skin infections.

â Perform skin exams and biopsies to detect and monitor skin cancers and other disorders.

â Provide treatments including cryotherapy, electrocautery, intralesional injections, and phototherapy.

â Perform minor procedures such as excisions, scar revisions, and mole removals.

â Offer cosmetic treatments like chemical peels, botox, fillers, and laser therapies as per expertise.

â Educate patients on skincare routines, sun protection, and preventive care.

â Collaborate with other specialists for multisystem or autoimmune skin diseases.

â Maintain detailed, accurate patient records using EHR systems.

â Stay current with emerging treatments, dermatologic research, and cosmetic procedures.

Preferred Skills:

â Experience with both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

â Trained in use of lasers and other aesthetic devices.

â Familiarity with trichology and dermatosurgery is a plus.

â Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

â Bilingual abilities are a plus.
