Design Architect

Job Title: Design Architect

• Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs as per client and project requirements.
  

• Prepare and present 2D and 3D design visualisations, layouts, and architectural models using tools like AutoCAD, Rev it, SketchUp, Lumion, and other software.
  

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure design intent aligns with functionality, budget, and timelines.
  

• Prepare construction documents including drawings, schedules, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  

• Conduct site visits and provide design clarifications or modifications as needed during construction phases.
  

• Stay updated with current trends in design, materials, sustainability, and architectural technologies.
  

• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews to communicate ideas effectively.
  

• Ensure all design documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  

• Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design or a similar role.
  

• Proven experience with commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial projects.
  

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and MS Office.
  

• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
  

• Excellent visualisation and presentation skills.
  

• Strong communication, coordination, and project management abilities.
  

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment under deadlines.
  

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
