Job Description - Design Engineer (Land Development)

Position objective:

â¢ Stay updated with the latest advancements in Civil 3D software and civil engineering practices.

â¢ Good in Site plan, Grading plan preparation, pavement design Pre and post condition drainage area maps and Site hydrologic analysis, Storm water Hydraulic analysis, Underground utility plan preparation (Water/ sewer), Erosion control Plans, Storm water management plan and reports (Design of detention ponds)

â¢ Experience in working of Residential and commercial site development projects.

â¢ Ensuring designs meet client requirements and recognized codes and standards

â¢ Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

â¢ Managing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, and to client expectations.

â¢ Mentoring junior members of project teams and interns.

â¢ Preparing engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, and managing documentation.

â¢ Providing technical support to graduate engineers.

â¢ Conduct meetings with the client.

Domain Knowledge required: Civil 3D, Site development. Residential , Commercial. Drainage design, HydroCAD, SSA,

Software Skills: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydro CAD, Civil 3D SSA

Requirements

â¢ Bachelorâs degree in civil engineering

â¢ Minimum of 3-6 years of Design experience

â¢ Previous experience in Land development projects. (USA)

â¢ Strong communication and presentation skills.
